# Delete a Siteworx Backup in Nodeworx

## Introduction

Over time, old backups can accumulate and take up valuable disk space on your server. To keep your server storage optimized, it is good practice to remove backup files you no longer need. This guide will show you how to delete specific **SiteWorx** backups, **either individually or in bulk**, directly from the **NodeWorx** interface.

## Prerequisites

- A server with **InterWorx** installed, OR
- A Nexcess plan that offers **NodeWorx** access.

## Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to **NodeWorx**.
2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to **SiteWorx > Backup / Restore**.
3. From the **Reseller** dropdown menu, select the Reseller that owns the account.

Note for Resellers

If you are logged in as a NodeWorx Reseller, you will only see the SiteWorx accounts that you own.

4. Click the **Manage** button next to the specific SiteWorx account.

No Backups Available

If the button says **No Backups** instead of **Manage**, it means there are no backup files available for this account.

5. Locate the backup file you want to remove and click the **Trashcan icon**.
6. Click **Delete** to confirm the action.

### Delete Backups in Bulk

1. Log in to **NodeWorx**.
2. Navigate to **SiteWorx > Backup / Restore**.
3. Select the **Reseller** that owns the accounts from the dropdown.
4. Click **Manage** next to the SiteWorx account containing the backups.
5. Select the **checkbox** next to each backup you want to delete.

Selecting All Backups

Selecting the checkbox in the header row (next to the “With Selected” dropdown) will automatically select **all** backups in the list.

6. From the **With Selected** dropdown menu, choose **Delete**.
7. Click **Go**.
8. Review the list and click **Delete** to confirm the removal.
