# How to delete a MySQL database with SiteWorx

Possible Data Loss

Deleting a database permanently destroys all data. Deletion does not remove user permissions for user access.

1. Log in to your SiteWorx account.
    
    
    - If you do not know your password, click **Forgot your password** on the login page.
2. Select **Hosting Features > MySQL > Databases**.
3. Next to the database to be deleted, click **Delete**.
4. Confirm deletion by clicking **Delete** when prompted.
