# Nexcess Managed Magento Email Management

Email management for a Magento **store** involves two distinct components: transactional emails sent by the application and standard email hosting for your domain. Both are critical for communicating with customers about their orders, including those for **digital products**, and for the general operation of your **e-shop**.

1. **Transactional Emails:** These are automated messages sent from your Magento installation, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and password resets. Configuring these correctly is essential for reliability and deliverability.
