# How to find HTTP authentication credentials for Nexcess Cloud dev sites

## Prerequisites

- Your [sites-portal.nexcess.com ](https://sites-portal.nexcess.com/)login credentials. If you cannot locate them, click **Forgot** **Password?** on the login page.
- An existing dev site. See [How to create dev sites in Nexcess Cloud](https://docs.nexcess.com/sites-stores/managed-woocommerce/store-management/dev-stores/) for more information.

## Step by step instructions

1. Log in to the [sites-portal.nexcess.com ](https://sites-portal.nexcess.com/). From the home page, click **Plans**.
2. Locate the account with the dev site, click **Development** **Environments**. From the **menu** **toggle** for that dev site, click **Dashboard**.
3. From the home page of your dev account, select the **Main Menu**, then click **Access**.
4. In the Developer HTTP Authentication section, click **View** **Password** or **Reset Password**, as desired.
