# How to generate a CSR in Nexcess Cloud

## Prerequisites

You must be a Nexcess Cloud client. For inquiries, please contact our sales team between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. eastern time (ET), Monday–Friday, or [visit our website](https://www.liquidweb.com/cloud-hosting/cloud-website-hosting/).

## Method

To generate a CSR for your Nexcess Cloud service, open a ticket with our Support team [by email](mailto:support@nexcess.net) or [sites-portal.nexcess.com.](https://sites-portal.nexcess.com/) Include the following information with your request:

No Abbreviations

Do not abbreviate states, provinces, cities, or localities.

- [Two-letter ISO country code](http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/country_code_list.htm)
- State or province
- City
- Company
- Company division
- Common name; usually your domain name, as in “nexcess.net” or “www.nexcess.net”
- Your preferred email address to register with the domain, which must be one of the following: 
    - postmaster@yourdomain.com (recommended)
    - administrator@yourdomain.com
    - admin@yourdomain.com
    - webmaster@yourdomain.com
    - hostmaster@domain.com
