# View and Copy Your License Key

This guide explains how to find and copy your **Unified License Key** in the customer portal. You’ll need this key to activate Liquid Web plugins and themes on your WordPress site.

Before you get started

- You must be logged into the [customer portal](https://software.liquidweb.com/)
- Confirm you have one or more active subscriptions

## **Copy The Key From The License Page**

1. Log in to the [customer portal](https://software.liquidweb.com/)
2. Select **License** from the sidebar
3. Locate your **Unified License Key** at the top of the page
4. Select **Copy To Clipboard**

Select **Show** (the eye icon) to reveal the key if it is hidden.

Below your license key, the **License** page displays:

- **Status** — whether your license is active
- **Products Configured** — the number of products configured for this subscription
- **Auto-renew** — Auto-renew status
- **Expires On** — date the license is due to expire

Additional sections include:

**Products that still need setup** – These products do not currently have an activated site. Download the products you intend to use, then add the site where they are installed.

**Configured products** – Products already connected to a site are shown here.

## **After Copying Your License Key**

Paste your **Unified License Key** into the license field of Software License Manager to activate it.

The same key works across all products included in your subscription and on every site covered by your plan.

To access the **Software License Manager**, from the WP admin, go to **Settings → Liquid Web Products**.

**I Don’t See A License Key**

A license key appears only when your account includes at least one active subscription. Check the **Subscriptions** page to confirm your plan status.

**My Key Isn’t Activating on my Site**

Confirm the key was copied completely and does not include extra spaces. Also verify that:

- your subscription status is **Active**
- your site limit has not been reached

**The Key is Hidden, and I Can’t Read It**

Select **Show** (or the eye icon) to reveal the key, then select **Copy To Clipboard**.

**I Expected a Separate Key for Each Product**

Liquid Web uses a single **Unified License Key** for all products in your account. Review **Products Under This Key** on the **License** page to see what is included.
