# New Page is Not Using the My Account Template

If you’ve just created a new page and it’s not using the account template with the sidebar navigation, you may need to refresh your permalinks.

**To do this, take the following steps:**

1. Login to your WordPress admin area.
2. Go to **Settings** > **Permalinks**. 
    - Simply loading the **Permalinks** settings page will refresh your permalinks.
3. Load your new My Account page on the frontend again. It should now be using the correct account area template.
