# Incorrect Term/category Counts

If you’ve noticed your category or filter counts are incorrect, you may need to clear out orphaned variations. These are variations that no longer have a parent product associated with them.

To tidy these up, take the following steps:

1. Navigate to **WooCommerce** >  **System Status**.
2. Click **Tools**.
3. Click **Delete orphaned variations**.

After doing this, your term counts will likely be fixed.
