# Assigning Certificates to Quizzes and Courses

Once you’ve created a certificate, you can attach it to a quiz so learners are automatically rewarded for high performance.

#### Steps to Add a Certificate to a Quiz

1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to **LearnDash LMS > Quizzes**.
2. Select the quiz you want to edit and click **Settings**.
3. Scroll down to the **Quiz Certificate** section.
4. From the dropdown, select the certificate you created (e.g., *Basic Quiz Certificate*).
5. Set the **Award Percentage**: 
    - Example: The quiz passing score may be 80%.
    - To award a certificate only for higher performance, set the threshold at 90% (or your chosen percentage).
6. Click **Update** to save your settings.
