# Create a Static Homepage

#### **1. The Default Homepage**

- By default, WordPress shows your **latest blog posts** on the homepage, listed in chronological order.

- To set up a static homepage, you’ll need **two pages**: 
    - One to serve as the **Homepage**
    - Another to display your **Blog posts**
