# How New Users Redeem Coupons

Once you’ve created coupons in LearnDash, learners can redeem them during the **registration and checkout process** to receive discounts on your courses.

#### How Learners Redeem a Coupon

1. **Go to the Course Page**
    - The learner clicks the **Take This Course** button.
2. **Register an Account**
    - The learner is redirected to the **Registration Page**.
    - They fill out the form with their **username, email, first name, last name, and password**.
    - Click **Register** to continue.
3. **Apply the Coupon**
    - After registration, the learner is redirected to the **Purchase/Checkout Page**.
    - Enter the coupon code in the **Apply Coupon** field.
    - Click **Apply Coupon**.
    - If the coupon is valid, the discount will be applied immediately.
4. **Complete Payment**
    - The learner clicks **Take This Course** or **Checkout** to finalize the purchase.
    - Once payment is processed, they are **automatically enrolled in the course**.
