# Lesson 2: Add-ons

Add-ons allow you to extend the functionality of your LearnDash courses with powerful new features and integrations. You can easily install, activate, and manage them directly from your WordPress dashboard.

#### Accessing Add-Ons

1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to **LearnDash LMS > Add-Ons**.
2. Here you’ll see: 
    - A list of all available add-ons.
    - Which add-ons you’ve already installed.

#### Installing and Activating an Add-On

1. Click **Install Now** on the add-on you’d like to use.
2. You’ll be prompted to an activation screen. 
    - If not, go to **Plugins > Installed Plugins**.
    - Locate the add-on and click **Activate**.

#### Deactivating an Add-On

- From the same screen, you can click **Deactivate** to turn off any active add-on.
