# Edit Your Customer Account Email and Password

Follow these steps to change the email address associated with your account or update your password:

1. Log into [your account](https://account.learndash.com/)
2. Enter your new email address and/or update your new password under **User Information**
3. Click **Update**

The above email address is for your LearnDash account and your LearnDash license email. This update will not impact your Billing email.

**NOTE**: The email address for your account is the same one that should be entered under LearnDash LMS > Settings > LMS LicenseI on your WordPress Admin site. If they do not match, your license will not validate.
