# Do I need a plugin to do drip feeding?

You dont need to purchase an additional plugin to enable drip-feeding lessons in LearnDash, as this feature is built directly into LearnDash LMS. You can easily schedule the release of lessons based on time intervals after a student enrolls or set them for specific calendar dates.

To enable lesson drip-feeding, please follow these steps:

- Navigate to LearnDash LMS > Lessons
- Click on the lesson you want to edit.
- Go to the Settings tab at the top of the page.
- Locate the section titled Lesson Access Settings.

### You have the following options:

- **Immediately (default)**: The lesson is made available as soon as the user is enrolled in the course.
- **Enrollment-based**: The lesson will be available X days after the user enrolls in the course.
- **Specific date**: The lesson will be available on a specified date.

**Note**: If you set 1 Day, it means 24 hours from enrollment, not the next day at midnight. Similarly, 2 Days means 48 hours, and so on.
