# How to Enable and Use the Bookmark Feature in the LearnDash App

## **Introduction**

  
The **Bookmark** feature in the LearnDash App allows users to save their favorite **WordPress blog posts** to a personalized screen for quick access. This not only improves user experience but also increases engagement and content retention.

This guide walks you through enabling bookmarks, adding the screen to your app menu, and how users can bookmark and manage their saved posts.

### **Enabling Bookmarks**

1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to **LearnDash App > Settings > Blog Posts**.
2. Check **Enable Bookmarking**.

### **Add to Tab Bar or More Menu**

1. Go to **LearnDash App > Menus**.

3. Click **Add to Menu**.

5. Refresh the app to apply changes.

## **Bookmarking Blog Posts**

### **Saving a Post**

1. Open the **LearnDash App** and go to the **Blog Posts** screen.
2. Tap the **bookmark icon** next to a post.
3. The icon will change from outlined to filled, confirming it’s saved.

### **Viewing Bookmarked Posts**

1. Navigate to the **Bookmarks** screen via the **Tab Bar** or **More menu**.
2. View your saved posts.  
    
    - If empty, the message **“No Posts Found”** will appear.

### **Removing a Bookmark**

1. Go to the **Bookmarks** screen.
2. Tap the **filled bookmark icon** on the post you want to remove.
3. The icon will revert to outlined, and the post will disappear from the list.

## **Troubleshooting and FAQs**

**Q: Why isn’t the bookmark icon showing on posts?  
 A: Make sure **Enable Bookmarking** is turned on under **Settings > Blog Posts**, then restart the app.

**Q: Why is the Bookmarks screen missing from my app menu?**  A: Add it via **LearnDash App > Menus**, then refresh the app to load the new menu item.

**Q: Why do bookmarked posts disappear unexpectedly?  
 A: Caching plugins may be clearing user-specific data. Adjust or disable caching settings to preserve bookmarks.

**Q: Can users bookmark custom post types or LearnDash lessons?  
 A: No. The feature currently supports **standard WordPress posts** only.
