# Member Capabilities

> Note: To view a list of all available add-ons and enable the ones you want, navigate to **MemberDash** > **Modules**

Member Capabilities allows you to manage user capabilities on the membership level.

To enable Member Capabilities, navigate to **MemberDash** >**Modules** and scroll down until you see the **Member Capabilities** section and click the switch to enable it.

Once it’s enabled, you can click on the **settings** link to open up the Member Capabilities settings area.

From here you can enable Advanced Capability Protection, which allows you to protect individual WordPress Capabilities.

Once that’s enabled, you can navigate to **MemberDash** >**Protection Rules** >**Capabilities** to start adding various WordPress capabilities to certain Memberships.
