# Additional Invoice Settings

> Note: To view a list of all available add-ons and enable the ones you want, navigate to **MemberDash** > **Modules**

![](https://docs.nexcess.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/invoice-module-scaled.png)If you enable Additional Invoice Settings, there will be some new options regarding how Invoice IDs are generated.

1. Progressive invoice ID generation 
    - Invoice ID’s will be generated in a progressive order. This will depend on the total number of invoices you have in your installation
2. Custom invoice ID generation for all gateways 
    - This allows you to add a custom prefix
3. Combined 
    - This enables progressive ID generation and also allows you to add a custom prefix

There is also an Update button which allows you to update existing invoices based on your selection.
