# MemberDash Payment Settings

**MemberDash > Settings / Payment** is where you can control both your Global Payment Settings (what appears on your invoices) and your individual Payment Gateways.

### Global Payment Settings

These fields will auto-save as you fill them out and move on to the next field.

### Payment Gateways

MemberDash offers three different Payment Gateways

- Manual Payment
- PayPal Standard
- Stripe

Fill out the Payment Info field to instruct your users how to send payment.

#### PayPal Standard Payment Gateway

IPN instructions can be found here: [PayPal IPN Documentation](https://developer.paypal.com/api/nvp-soap/ipn/IPNSetup/#:~:text=Hover%20over%20your%20name%20and,in%20the%20Notification%20URL%20field.)

After you log in, follow these instructions to set up your listener:

1. Log in to your PayPal business account at [www.paypal.com](https://www.paypal.com/ "external link").
2. Hover over your name and then click **Account Settings** from the dropdown menu.
3. On the **Notifications** page, click the **Update** link for the **Instant payment notifications** item.
4. Click **Choose IPN Settings** to specify your listener’s URL and activate the listener.
5. Specify the URL for your listener in the Notification URL field.
6. Click **Receive IPN messages (Enabled)** to enable your listener.
7. Click **Save**.

You can return to the **Instant Payment Notification** page to modify your notification URL, disable your listener, or turn off IPN.

#### Stripe Connect Gateway

![](https://docs.nexcess.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/stripe_memberdash-1024x666.webp)**The Stripe Connect Gateway will work for Recurring, Finite, One Time, and Date Range Memberships.** The default selection is Sandbox Mode, for testing purposes. *Once you have tested your payment gateway, remember to switch to Live Mode and to also connect the Webhook in Live Mode on Stripe.*

When you first go to the Payment Settings, you’ll see a button to **Click to Connect Stripe,** like the above screenshot.

**Note:** With the **toggle** button, you can toggle each Payment Gateway **on** or **off**.

If you’d like to display a Vendor Logo, load it to **WordPress Dashboard > Media** and copy the image URL. **Paste** that URL into the **Vendor Logo** area.
