**Events Community 5.0.4 is only compatible with The Events Calendar 6.7.0 and higher.**

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

- Introduced a new filter tec\_events\_community\_event\_slug allowing customization of the event slug. By default, when The Events Calendar is installed, the Events URL Slug will be used.
