### Summary

Feature Release

The latest update of Event Tickets includes Seating information in the Attendee archive REST API response, plus many more fixes.

As always, we recommend[ testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✨ Features

New features in this release:

- Include Seating information in the Attendee archive REST API response.

#### ✅ Fixes

Bugs squashed in this release:

- Added a default empty array to `maybe\_disable\_foreign\_key\_checks`.
- Attendee generation during order status transition becomes aware if attendees have been already generated.
- Introduce an Order lock mechanism to ensure 2 or more actions that could update the order, they don’t do so at the same time.
- Prevent duplicate orders and as a result, duplicated attendees when a payment would initially fail at least once.
- Reverts aggressive hook update, causing fatals on installation with themes overwriting the template `Single Ticket Item`.
- Screen options will no longer be disabled when Event Tickets is active.
- Ticket sales will be counted correctly during status transitions of the orders they belong to.
- Enhance the performance of order modifier database queries.
- Method `should\_payment\_intent\_be\_updated` since it’s no longer needed.

Tweaks in this release:

- Add a filter to customize the cart hash cookie name for Tickets Commerce.
- Introduced methods `can\_change\_to` for Statuses and `can\_transition\_to` for Orders.
- Introduced various hooks for the order lock system and order completed checkout actions.
- Lazy load attendees report page asset filter to properly localize asset data.
- Added filters: `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_attendee\_update\_args`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_attendee\_update`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_cart\_hash\_cookie\_name`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_{$gateway\_key}\_upsert\_args`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_upsert\_args`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_upsert\_existing\_order\_id`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_{$gateway\_key}\_update\_args`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_update\_args`, `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_modifier\_valid\_statuses`, `tec\_tickets\_rest\_attendee\_archive\_data`
- Removed filters: `tec\_tickets\_commerce\_order\_modifier\_status\_flags`
