# Event Tickets 5.2.4

### Summary

Maintenance Release

This update to Event Tickets 5.2.4 features improved compatibility with the Gutenberg Editor.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release

- We removed the `wp.editor.InnerBlocks` Gutenberg component in favor of `wp.blockEditor.InnerBlocks` which was deprecated since version 5.3.
- We’ve added compatibility with the Common Abstract for editor blocks registration.
- We now prevent scripts from loading on all Admin pages, so that they only load on pages needed.
- We’ve made performance improvements around Block Asset loading and redundancy.
- Added internal caching of values to reduce the `get_option()` call count.
- Switched from `sanitize_title_with_dashes` to `sanitize_key` in a couple of instances for performance gains.
- We prevent asset loading from repeating calls to plugin URL and path, resulting in some minor performance gains.
- We updated the way we handle Classic Editor compatibility, specifically around user choice.
- Removed the incorrect reference for moment.min.js.map.
- Fixed the troubleshooting page styles for standalone Event Tickets setup.
- Removed the singleton created from a deprecated class.
