# Event Tickets 5.5.3

### Summary

Maintenance Release

The latest version of Event Tickets features enhancements to the REST API endpoints related to attendees in preparation for the release of a new version of our Event Tickets Plus app.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✨ New

New features included in this release:

- Added support for `name` and `email` param for searching in Attendee archive REST API.
- Added template tag to properly check if The Events Calendar is active.
- Added `attendance` information to the `events` REST API endpoint.
- Added `check_in` argument support for `attendees` REST API endpoint.

#### ✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- `Orderby` param is now working for the Attendee archive REST API.
- We now properly save the check-in details for attendees on check-in.
- Tickets Commerce ticketed events now show up for Events REST API.
- Updated the version of Firebase/JWT in Common from 5.x to 6.3.0.
