# Event Tickets Plus 6.9.0

### Summary

Feature Release

The latest update of Event Tickets Plus introduces the highly requested [Purchase Rules feature](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/events-calendar/)! This allows you to set custom rules around ticket purchases, including quantity discounts, maximums and minimums, role restrictions, and combination requirements.

**Event Tickets Plus 6.9.0 is only compatible with Event Tickets 5.27.0 or higher.**

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.
