# Events Calendar Pro 7.7.12

### Summary

Maintenance Release

The latest version of Events Calendar Pro includes some bug fixes, improved compatibility with WPML, and several accessibility tweaks.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✅ Fixes

Bugs squashed in this release:

- Add a filter to allow skipping updating the series post status, for example during old event cleanup.
- Add filters to control Venue and Organizer page titles.
- Fix recurring event view links in admin dashboard when using WPML with different domains per language by including get\_option( ‘home’ ) in URL stripping logic.
- Handle ignored imported events in Event Manager list view.

#### ⚙️ Tweaks

Tweaks in this release:

- Added filters: `wpml_post_language_details, wpml_permalink, tec_events_skip_updating_series_status`
- Changed views: `v2/map/event-cards/event-card/event, v2/photo/event, v2/week, v2/week/day-selector, v2/week/grid-body, v2/week/grid-body/events-day, v2/week/grid-body/events-day/event, v2/week/grid-body/events-day/event/tooltip/title, v2/week/grid-header, v2/week/grid-header/header-column`
- Adjust focus order for Events by Week widget so it follows a logical left to right pattern.
- Automatically move focus to events when using a keyboard to navigate the Events By Week widget.
- Improve accessibility for Week View by reorganizing heading hierarchy, adding ARIA roles and labels, and refining screen reader behavior.
- Increase contrast of pagination arrows for the Week Widget for improved accessibility.
- Increase contrast on focus for mini calendar.
- Reorder event markup in archive and widget views so event titles precede their date and time for improved screen reader navigation.
