# Events Calendar Pro 5.12.1

### Summary

Maintenance Release

This update to Events Calendar Pro 5.12.1 features improved compatibility with the Gutenberg Editor.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

**Version:** Events Calendar Pro 5.12.1 is only compatible with The Events Calendar 5.14.0 or higher.

#### ✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release

- We removed the `wp.editor.InnerBlocks` Gutenberg component in favor of `wp.blockEditor.InnerBlocks` which was deprecated since version 5.3.
- We’ve added compatibility with the Common Abstract for editor blocks registration.
- Made major performance improvements gain from preventing improper load of Geolocation classes when not needed.
- Resolved an Events Manager conflict that caused a fatal error with the Disable Gutenberg plugin.
- The [Events By Week](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/events-week-widget/) widget now correctly displays the “Generate JSON-LD data” option.
