# Events Calendar Pro 5.14.1

### Summary

Maintenance Release

This latest version of Events Calendar Pro features a brand new, dedicated [tag archive for events](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/event-categories-tags/) to improve the tag functionality and visibility.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✨ New

New features included in this release:

- We replaced Elementor widget usage of font awesome icons with built-in eicons.
- Added transport to the [WordPress Customizer](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/wordpress-customizer-events/) to support Live Preview for view selector.

#### ✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- Events hidden from the Upcoming List on the frontend will still show on the Events Manager.
- We now prevent a fatal error in PHP 8.0 with recurring events by ensuring that queue processor methods `do_deletions`, `do_creations`, and `do_updates` return an array.
- On Event tag archives, we now only show events with the tag, changed the single event tag links to use the event tag archive, and added a link to event tag archive in the admin.
- We now ensure that we sort distances as numbers, not strings, in Map View.
