# Events Calendar Pro 6.2.0

### Summary

Feature Release

The latest update introduces new and exciting features such as multiple venue support, enhanced feature images, and category & tags for Organizers and Venues.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

Minimum supported version in this release:

- Events Calendar PRO 6.2.0 is only compatible with The Events Calendar 6.2.0 and higher

#### ✨ Features

New features

- Multi-venue support has been added.
- Adding a new category taxonomy for Organizers and Venues.
- Include settings to hide the Event Organizer Email and Phone for the Organizer single page and Event single page.
- Enhanced featured image and meta layout for Organizer and Venue pages.

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- Specifying post slugs for venues and organizers within shortcodes will now find posts as expected.
