### Summary

Maintenance Release

This latest version of Events Calendar Pro includes a preemptive update postmeta before 3rd parties to prevent metadata duplication.

**TEC has added support for additional fields in Events REST API for ECP. Read more [here](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/event-tickets-rest-api/).**

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

- Validating post object before accessing post\_type on Widget Manager.

Tweaks in this release:

- Add caching to the Zoom method to get alternative hosts to prevent accessing the API on every load of the event editor.
- Move file index.umd.js from node\_modules to `src/resources/includes/`.
- Added filters: `tec\_events\_pro\_virtual\_alternative\_hosts\_cache\_duration
