# Filter Bar 5.0.1

### Summary

Maintenance Release

Filter Bar 5.0.1. resolves an issue that prevented the events page from scrolling properly, as well as an issue where the `[tribe_events]` shortcode pagination triggered a notice.

This is a minor release with no template updates, so it should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to [backup](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-site-backups/) your site and test changes in a [development environment](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update.

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- We prevent the events page from scrolling down to open dropdown and multi-select filters after a filter has been selected.
- We also prevent `[tribe_events]` shortcode pagination from triggering a notice on the filter-button due to a missing parameter.
