# Filter Bar 5.5.0

### Summary

Maintenance Release

The latest version of Filter Bar fixes an issue with filtering by Custom Fields.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

**Version:** Filter Bar 5.5.0 is only compatible with The Events Calendar 6.1.0 and higher

Bugs that were squashed in this release

- We fixed an issue with checkbox custom fields that had spaces in their name, which would fail to be removed from the search filter when attempting to unselect them.
