# Hotfix Release: The Events Calendar and Event Tickets 4.3.4.1

We’ve just released an update to The Events Calendar and Event Tickets to address an issue that some folks encountered after updating to [the Maintenance Release we just released yesterday](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/release-notes-the-events-calendar-maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-3-4-event-tickets-4-3-4-premium-plugins/). The issue is that there were two stray characters left in a main PHP file for both plugins. This may *sound* innocuous, but could cause a number of issues of varying severity, so it’s important that we publish a correction of that mistake. **The only plugins affected by this release are The Events Calendar and Event Tickets**, specifically, **which are now at version 4.3.4.1**. To learn about the status of other plugins at this time, please consult our Maintenance Release notes from yesterday [here](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/release-notes-the-events-calendar-maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-3-4-event-tickets-4-3-4-premium-plugins/).

? **Enormous thanks** to user [Adrian Bengtson](https://github.com/Aetles), who not only reported the issue but also submitted a Pull Request on GitHub that fixed the code. Thanks, Adrian!
