# Maintenance Release for the Week of 16 December 2018

Welcome! Here is release number 19 of 2018! If this is your first time getting an update from us, [Maintenance Releases](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/release-notes-the-events-calendar-release-the-events-calendar-4-2-premium-add-ons/) are smaller updates between major releases and are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small (but meaningful!) improvements. We always recommend using a [staging site](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) to test these changes before updating on a live site. ### The Events Calendar 4.7.3

- **Tweak** – Tweak the registration of the Event, Venue, and Organizer post types so they use some new post type labels introduced in WordPress 5.0 like item\_updated, item\_scheduled, etc.
- **Tweak** – Adjusted content in the admin welcome page that users are brought to upon newly activating Event Tickets
- **Tweak** – Refreshing the Welcome page for The Events Calendar and Event Tickets
- **Fix** – Prevent admin tooltips to that full page width on Blocks Editor
- **Fix** – Datepicker code will now use the correct datetime format
- **Fix** – Password protected events breaking the month view. Thanks to Lindsay, Simon and others for flagging this out!
- **Fix** – Add proper capitalization for Event Price for Blocks Editor
- **Fix** – Make sure Datetime Format for Datepickers are respected on the Blocks Editor
- **Fix** – Correct text domain and remove old events-gutenberg
- **Fix** – Properly display recurrence description on Blocks Editor view
- **Fix** – Point support links to the correct places
- **Language** – 27 new strings added, 106 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 13 obsoleted
 
### Events Calendar Pro 4.5.2

- **Tweak** – Ensure that recurrence rule types use their plural form when appropriate in the Events block
 
### Event Tickets 4.9.3

- **Fix** – Only show “Log in before purchasing” when login is required for Tribe Commerce tickets
- **Fix** – Set custom date format for date pickers used on tickets
- **Fix** – Display only tickets that are in date range
- **Fix** – RSVP now stays in sync with the Events and saving properly the Sale dates
- **Fix** – Remove the old events-gutenberg domain into the templates
- **Fix** – Prevent RSVP from showing on Tickets and vice versa
- **Fix** – Tickets will no longer get saved as RSVPs via Block Editor
- **Tweak** – Link to the correct support places
- **Tweak** – Adjusted content in the admin welcome page that users are brought to upon newly activating Event Tickets
- **Tweak** – Added filter: tribe\_tickets\_show\_login\_before\_purchasing\_link
- **Language** – 23 new strings added, 11 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 20 obsoleted
 
### Event Tickets Plus 4.9.1

- **Fix** – Avoid fatal error when completing an order via WooCommerce
- **Fix** – Prevent WC\_Product\_Simple from fataling when filtering max purchase limit on Tickets Block view
- **Language** – 0 new strings added, 2 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
