# Release: The Events Calendar 4.1.2 and premium plugins

We’re chugging right along and have a brand new batch of releases for you that squash a number of annoying bugs. You could say we went all Orkin in this release and nuked those suckers. ![orkin](https://docs.nexcess.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/orkin.gif) Here’s a complete rundown of what’s new:

- [The Events Calendar 4.1.2](#tec)
- [Events Calendar PRO 4.1.2](#pro)
- [Event Tickets 4.1.2](#et)
- [Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2](#etp)

The following plugins have not been updated and remain at the same version: - Community Events 4.1.1
- Community Tickets 4.1
- Eventbrite Tickets 4.1.1
- Facebook Events 4.1
- Filter Bar 4.1
- iCal Importer 4.1.1

As always, we do encourage you to update safely by testing the latest releases in a staging environment and [backing up WordPress](https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups) as you would with any other update. We expect this to be a smooth update for those of you running 4.1+ of any of the plugins, but do please be sure to read [our past release notes](https://www.liquidweb.com/category/products/release-notes/) if you are running anything earlier so you’re aware of what’s new. On to the current release notes we go! ---

### The Events Calendar 4.1.2

- **Tweak:** Removed an unneeded hook that attempted to add a query argument to event tag links
- **Fix:** Resolved an issue where events marked as “sticky” would not display as such in Month View
- **Fix:** Dashes, hyphens, or whatever you like to call them in the events archive slug no longer breaks the URL
- **Fix:** The notice that pops up when a conflicting “events” page exists can now be dismissed

---

### Events Calendar PRO 4.1.2

- **Security:** Perform a permissions check on AJAX requests
- **Tweak:** Changed the word “Once” in an event’s recurring settings because it was pretty confusing for everyone, including us

---

### Event Tickets 4.1.2

- **Tweak:** The front-end list of RSVP attendees is now hidden by default
- **Fix:** Removed a notice on attendees list when a non-existent email method is on a hook

---

### Event Tickets Plus 4.1.2

- **Fix:** The broken link in the EDD ticket email no longer links to a hole in the internet
