# The Events Calendar 5.1.2

Hey friends! The Events Calendar 5.1.2 features some updates to some minor errors that some of our users with WPEngine were experiencing, as well as a fix for an error with the tribe\_get\_events function. This is a minor release that should be smooth sailing when updating. That said, it’s always a good idea to [backup](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-site-backups/) your site and test changes in a [development environment](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) before installing this on your live site, as you would with any other WordPress update. Here are the detailed changes included in this release:

- **Tweak** – We now prevent undefined errors from occurring when using [tribe\_get\_events](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/events-calendar/), in part, by forcing a cache refresh.
- **Fix** – This fix prevents E\_ERROR on the [Tribe\_\_Events\_\_Meta\_\_Save](https://docs.theeventscalendar.com/reference/classes/tribe__events__meta__save/) construct when dealing with revisions, which some WP Engine customers were seeing.
- **Language** – 0 new strings added, 49 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
