# The Events Calendar 6.0.9

### Summary

Maintenance Release

 

This version of The Events Calendar includes translation updates, minor tweaks and new filters to the map views, support for clearing Event Aggregator logs, a new notice to check out Event Tickets, and several fixes for style compatibility, WPML integration, and more.

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

New features included in this release (if any)

- Add a notice with install functionality for Event Tickets.
- Add new `get_contrast_color` and `get_contrast_ratio` methods to the color utility for determining contrasting colors.

#### ✅ Fixed

 

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- Added safeguard against the `rewrite_rules_array` filter being passed non-array values, more error checking in WPML integration.
- Updating some button styles to be more compatible with global button styles, such as Elementor global styling.
- Ensure custom tables data is correctly updated when duplicating an Event using WPML.
- Ensure the zoom level set under `Events → Settings → Display → Google Maps default zoom level` is applied to the single events page.
- Ensure the code will work correctly when the Events’ category taxonomy is unregistered.
- Change the type of the date-related custom tables date fields to VARCHAR to avoid warnings on stricter SQL modes.
- Add logic to our template tags to handle non-string returns from `get_the_terms_list()`.
- Set max width to image in image setting field
