# The Events Calendar 6.2.9

### Summary

Maintenance Release

This version of The Events Calendar includes a fix in the Month view navigation and a few tweaks to prevent Content Layout Shifting in List view and improve an internal function to work with recurring events

As always, we recommend [testing updates](https://docs.nexcess.com/software/the-events-calendar/creating-and-using-a-wordpress-staging-site/) on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

#### ✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

- Resolves an issue where the `tribe-events-calendar-month__day--past` and `tribe-events-calendar-month__day--current` classes were not consistently applied after navigating through different months in the Month View.
- Expand the fix introduced in 6.2.8.1 for private and password-protected posts.

#### ✨ Tweaks

New tweaks in this release:

- We now define image sizes on the List view featured image to avoid Content Layout Shifting.
- We updated the ``tribe_get_venues`` function to work with recurring events that have provisional IDs.
- Added filters: `tec_events_custom_tables_v1_normalize_occurrence_id`
- Changed views: `v2/list/event/featured-image`
