Cloud Firewall

A Cloud Firewall operates within the network infrastructure to filter traffic before it reaches your server. This is different from a traditional software firewall, which runs directly on a server and uses its resources.

By blocking malicious traffic at the network edge, a Cloud Firewall conserves your server’s CPU and RAM for your applications. You can use it to create and manage security rules, such as opening specific ports for applications or blocking traffic from known malicious IP addresses. These rules are configured for individual servers, but the configurations can be copied to additional servers.
