Access Your Premium Business Email
Introduction
Managing your company’s communication starts with having the right tools in place. Before you can access your control panel, you must first have an active Premium Business Email (PBE) plan.
Additionally, you will need to add a domain to your account before accessing the portal. Setting up your domain right away ensures you aren’t limited to rudimentary administrative functions upon logging in. Instead, you’ll be fully equipped to jump right into creating mailboxes, setting client passwords, and managing your organization’s email settings.
Once you have ordered your package and added your domain, this brief guide will walk you through the simple process of logging into your administrative portal directly from your Liquid Web account using Single Sign-On (SSO).
Prerequisites
- Access to an active Liquid Web account.
- Premium Business Email ordered on the account.
- A domain with Premium Business Email enabled (highly recommended before logging in).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log into your portal.nexcess.com account with your username and password, or sign in with Google SSO.
- Click on Hosting, then select Premium Business Email
- Log in with Single Sign On (SSO) by clicking the black Email control panel button in the top right of the screen.
You are now logged into the Premium Business Email portal.
WARNING: Don’t lock yourself out!
While it is possible to adjust the password of your main administrator inside the PBE portal, doing so will permanently break the single sign-on (SSO) automatic login passthrough from your portal.nexcess.com portal.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why am I unable to see my domains in my Premium Business Email portal?
You likely need to add a domain to your account first. Without an active domain connected to your package, the portal restricts you to very basic administrative functions.
I changed my administrator password and now SSO is broken. How do I fix it?
If you changed the password directly inside the PBE portal, the automatic login from your Liquid Web account will fail because the credentials no longer match. You will need to reach out to our Support team so they can securely resync your SSO credentials.
Is this where I go to read and send my emails?
No, this control panel is strictly for administration (creating new mailboxes, managing domain aliases, setting user passwords, etc.). To actually check your email, you will need to log into Webmail or connect a desktop client like Outlook or Thunderbird.
