Release: The Events Calendar 4.0.7 + premium add-ons

Happy March everyone! We’re going to start things off by shipping a fresh version of The Events Calendar to you. The Events Calendar 4.0.7 is a minor update with a handful of squashed bugs for your calendaring enjoyment, which we’ll dig into below. We are also releasing updates to several of our premium add-ons. This brings our full suite to the following versions:

Update: do to a critical bug when updating Event Tickets before Event Tickets Plus, we have pulled the 4.0.6 releases of these plugins from distribution. If you already upgraded both, you are fine continuing to run them. The following plugins were not updated and stay at the same version number:

Facebook Events 4.0

As always, please exercise care and caution when installing these updates. We expect no issues for those upgrading from 4.0 and greater, but it’s still a good idea to backup your database and site files as you would with any other WordPress update. We’d also like to give a shout out to all the fine folks who reported the issues that are patched in this release. Thanks for speaking up in the forums and helping us make the calendar better! Fix – Reordering Venue and Organizer metadata no longer breaks titles
Fix – Prevented notices from happening when using the_title filter
Fix – iCal links now will respect categories on the first page
Fix – Prevent third-party bugs with SEO plugins when inserting events programmatically
Fix – Organizer Information is showing up again correctly
Fix – Modified the Add-on License validation method to better explain what is happening
Fix – Description on mobile views now has the correct class attribute on HTML
Fix – Added missing semi colon on the list navigation for &laquo

Events Calendar PRO 4.0.7

Fix – Load venue shortcode when there are no Events on that venue
Fix – Default value for tribe_get_event_website_link_target is corrected to _self
Fix – Default values for Venue and Organizers are now fully respected across the add-ons

Community Events 4.0.6

Fix – Category is now inserted when uploading a featured image
Fix – Errors on the public submission no longer reset the event date

Community Tickets 4.0.4

Fix – PayPal payments are fully working again with split payments checkout (HTTP 1.1)
