Virtual Events 1.3.0

Summary

This latest version of Virtual Events allows you to create a “hybrid” event, meaning it takes place both at a physical venue, and virtually.

✨ New

• We added an option in the event settings to mark an event “hybrid” which displays a hybrid icon for the event on all the views.
• We updated our events JSON-LD to support hybrid events and increase compatibility with search engines.

✅ Fixed

• We altered style hooks to load new sheets for widgets instead of all Events Virtual styles.
• We moved icon styles to their own stylesheet(s) so we don’t have to load all the styles for a widget each time a page loads, which helps performance.
