Release: The Events Calendar 4.1.0.1

As you may already know, we shipped The Events Calendar 4.1 yesterday. What you may not know is that it contained an errant issue that affected many of you with translated and multi-lingual sites. We noticed this almost immediately and appreciate all the reports we also received in the forums to confirm our need to fix it fast. Our support, development and QA teams have been working diligently these past 24 hours to get to the bottom of it and as such we are able to release an update that will fix that issue. The Events Calendar 4.1.0.1 is a minor update to address the issue that was a caused by a language file in the 4.1 release. This meant that malformed URLs and incorrect (or sometimes missing) strings rendered German-translated sites navigationally unusable. This release fixes that and includes a functional German translation file along with updated translation files for other languages. If you’ve already running The Events Calendar 4.1, then this will be a quick and easy update . If you’re updating from anything earlier or have made significant customizations to the plugins, then we advise a review of the 4.1 release notes and update in a test environment before updating directly on a site thats live.
