Meet Mike Mortimer

Mike has worked in web hosting and support for 10 years, and it all started with the simple response of “Sure, why not” when a friend asked if he was interested in a part-time job working chats for a web hosting company. He has since parlayed that job into working at a few different companies before finding a home here at iThemes where he puts the knowledge he has gained to helping people with BackupBuddy and now leading our support team for iThemes Hosting. Over the years, the “Sure, why not” answer has put him into a bunch of different volunteering positions from an animal shelter to a fire department. He likes to keep busy and is always looking for a new skill to learn, which always seems to be relayed back to his work here.
