Understanding Solid Security Trusted Devices

The Solid Security Trusted Devices feature enhances security by notifying administrators of unrecognized devices attempting access, allowing device confirmation via email or admin bar. It includes several powerful features:

  • Optional email notifications for unrecognized logins
  • Restricting the capabilities on unrecognized devices
  • Protection against session hijacking by monitoring device consistency during sessions
  • Integration with two-factor authentication to remember trusted devices.

Trusted Devices is one of only a few ways to protect against the rising trend of Stolen Session Cookie attacks that now comprise the largest percentage of WordPress attacks.

In this livestream, Timothy Jacobs will explain how to use the Trusted Devices feature and answer your questions about WordPress security.
